I've been meaning to post on this for a while... but finally have a bit of time to go into detail... here are my reviews:
Jess:
Well for those of you who have been paying any attention I absolutely love Jess. When ever I take her picture especially in a group shot it seems that her new face mold makes her appear to be smiling more so than the others. In group shots she appears to be more life like. I do like the fact that her braids are loose so when I take them down it is not going to be so detremental as Elizabeth's, Kirsten's, or Molly's hair. she is a beautiful doll with wonderful color. I think though it might have been neat to have her eyes amber color instead of dark brown... but I love her and I'm not really complaining. Her cheeks ARE chubby and this gives her a lifelike child feel... She's just adorable and very worth getting.
Jess' Meet Outfit: Jess' meet outfit actually exceeded my expectations. I'm not a huge orange fan so I wasn't thrilled with her meet dress having seen it on the web. I love the haulter top, it is actually embroidered. The top is a soft material which was again a surprise. The skirt is softer than the skirts for actual people... which can be very course. I also liked the fact that the skirt looks more like a peasant skirt than a hippie skirt with a tye-dye print. Its much better than expected.
Her undies (which you guys already saw) were a cute way to pay attention to detail... It made them more than just white undies!
Jess' PJ: Now I love these... I think they are more of a Sea Green type Teal than an actual teal. I do feel that the top is a bit langerie with the lace... but they make up with it in the crop/kapri pants. Its very cute and one of my favorite pieces now... as it makes the doll very very cuddly (more so than some of the other AG pj's and night gowns) The slippers are cute and are a soft squishy terrie cloth (which you'd love for your own blankie) but the more she wears them it seems they kinda bend as they are very soft material. They do not help the doll stand at all. Now my big peeve with this outfit is the hemp anklet. When I first opened the box with the pj's I don't know why I thought it was suppose to be a necklace. I was confused and actually tried to figure out where a clasp might be. I didn't mess the hemp up but had I been a child it would probably have been ruined. I think this piece needed an add in (like trading cards or a pamflet) so children and parents would have a better idea of what to do with this very small piece.
